1975 Volkswagen Camper Van, 2 Litre, Kombi
1975 Volkswagen camper van (Kombi).
Strong 18 months old reconditioned 2 litre engine.
Dual batteries (ideal for camping).
Back seat folds out to a double bed.
Pop top with single (2m/6’6 clearance).
Porsche seats recently fitted in front.
6 stacker Sony CD player.
Tow ball & trailer attachment plug.
Awning and poles (attaches to side of van and keeps her cool when camping).
Original kombi jack
Extra parts: Bull bar, spotlights, 240V power converter, near new seat covers.
“Banshee” has been used daily and is very reliable, with a strong engine and good tyres. The gear box is a little noisy but always has been.
Her body is straight with a little bit of rust on the sliding door and front pillars. One thumbnail size rust spot (as shown in the pictures), located on the driver’s pillar.
The reconditioned 2 litre engine was fitted about 18 months ago and in the past two years she had new sway bars, muffler, clutch, Porsche racing seats, seat covers, new glove box etc. Receipts and work history is available from 2000. She has been treated with love.
This is a very reluctant sale as this is my wife’s van and was an ongoing nearly complete project. Unfortunately it had to stop due to starting a family as our finances are committed elsewhere now. So, it’s time for Banshee to find a new owner that would love her as much as we do.
